About EKO NASHCO
The Nigerian Association of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists ("NASHCO") was founded on the 19th of May 1978. The aim of the association is to provide a forum for dealing with common problems of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists and to ensure high professional standards and ethics in the field of hairdressing and cosmetology. The motto of the association is "UNITY AND STRENGTH" . The Lagos State Chapter of NASHCO is a vibrant association with over ten thousand (10,000) registered members in all the twenty (20) local government areas (LGA) and thirty seven (37) Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs). The State body is headed by the President and Executives, the LGA's and LCDA's are headed by a Chairperson and Zonal Heads are responsible for the areas under each LGA/LCDA. The Lagos Chapter of NASHCO hold meetings on the last Thursday of each month (with the exception of December). NASHCO is registered with the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Likewise the association is also registered with the Lagos State Wealth Creation and Empowerment .
